Weekend recap:
Friday was Joe’s 64th birthday so we had a mini work celebration. After, Jesse stopped by and we chatted for it bit. It’s great he’s back; everyone missed him. Later in the evening, we picked up an armoire to match our wine cabinet and hung out with Jake and Rob for a bit.
Saturday was the Patriot’s playoff game. Tara and I headed up there with a newly engaged couple from work. Jesse brought some of his friends from the marines and Mac brought a friend he made in China who is actually from Easton, MA. The game was awesome. It was extremely cold so we wore snowsuits, but it only added to the atmosphere.
Yesterday was spent tidying up the apartment and working on our furniture: sanding, painting, upholstering.
