You could substitute melted caramels with a little butter and condensed milk or even a store bought caramel ice cream topping. Only you know the amount of time you have for cooking and experimenting. Days like these reinstate the serenity of existence. Gazing at the lavender clouds as they part the peach sky, I enjoy the sunset on this crisp December day. The rhythm of  vehicles passing by the bridge outside my window moves my motionless state. The birds battle the breeze along with the waves of the river and I am alive. Conversations with close friends echo and I am whole.
